Markon is seeking an experienced Budget Execution Analyst to join our team, supporting a client in the Intelligence Community (IC). The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in budget execution, financial management, and leveraging customer systems such as BASIS and COGNOS. This role involves working onsite, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and managing financial elements such as Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) and Budget Line Items (BLIs).
Responsibilities:
- Execute, monitor, and analyze budgets to ensure accurate alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
- Utilize customer systems (e.g., BASIS) to track, update, and reconcile financial transactions.
- Support SLA compliance through detailed reporting and proactive issue resolution.
- Manage CLINs, BLIs, and related financial structures to ensure accurate funding and reporting.
- Prepare detailed financial reports using COGNOS, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align budget execution with program objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to budget execution and financial compliance.
- 10 years of experience in budget execution, financial analysis, and related roles.
- Hands-on experience with BASIS and other IC-specific financial systems.
- Proficiency in COGNOS for financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong understanding of SLAs, CLINs, BLIs, and other budgetary frameworks.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the Intelligence Community or related government agencies.
- Advanced certifications in financial management or budgeting (e.g., CDFM, CPA).
- Familiarity with federal government contracting and acquisition processes.

Salary : $170,000 - $195,000
