Markon is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support an Intelligence customer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and maintain security plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations.
- Provide ISSO expertise to assess security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with applicable frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF, FISMA).
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring to safeguard systems.
- Collaborate with system owners, ISSMs, and other stakeholders to maintain security authorization packages.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring proper remediation.
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
- TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and information system security.
- Experience supporting customer system security requirements.
- Hands-on expertise in reviewing and developing security plans and implementations.
- Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security ).

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
