Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Marks & Harrison. In this role, you will be responsible for requesting, managing and organizing medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while supporting our attorneys in their pursuit of justice for clients.
Responsibilities
- Request, maintain and organize medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
- Assist attorneys by retrieving pertinent medical information as needed.
- Communicate effectively with medical offices to obtain necessary records.
- Manage electronic filing system for efficient record retrieval.
- Adhere to confidentiality protocols regarding sensitive patient information.
Requirements
- Previous experience in records management is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using office systems and software related to record management.
