We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Site Security/Fire Manager.
As a Site Security/Fire Manager, you will play a crucial role in protecting lives and property by managing and leading the security and fire teams and assisting the client in various capacities.
This physically demanding and rewarding position requires critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure.
The Site Security/Fire Manager position reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations.

The Site Security/Fire Manager oversee and manage site activity within a designated geographical area. Conduct routine inspections and audits of security personnel to ensure proper implementation of security procedures & protocol.
Essential Job Functions:
- Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Observe and report all suspicious activity
- Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies
- Maintain compliance with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Foreign Trade Zone (where applicable)
- Completes incident reports as required
- Liaison daily with NASEM Security Management including a joint review of pass-down and operations reports
- Access control administrator
- Act as incident command in collaboration with NASEM Security Management
- Coordinate new hire interviews
- Creates and revises security policies and procedures
- Develop staff in technical and professional skills
- Ensure all contracted hours of coverage are met
- Ensure that all regulatory compliance and records are available to NASEM
- Evaluate employee performance and maintain employee files
- Evaluate overall performance of site. Propose changes / improvements to Security Management as needed
- Liaison between Security Management and Contractor
- Oversee all security operations and emergency preparedness
- Schedule, coordinate and supervise the conduct of emergency preparedness exercises or drills
- Oversee required training for officers
- Oversee security system integrity, report problems to NASEM Security Management
- Oversee the development of all Management Personnel
- Oversees all Security staff
- Participate in site and community events and training that supports facility initiatives
- Prepare post orders and instructions for special events
- Maintain regulatory reporting & compliance – any and all state or federal requirements
- Resolves all personnel issues
- Responsible for overall site operations
- Liaison with EMS, police, and fire personnel
- Confirm dissemination of information to all shifts
- Provide technical and professional skills development material for assigned staff
- Maintain log of fire equipment, safety equipment and other inspections performed by officers
- Assists in the annual NASEM Global Risk Assessment and ISO Audits
- Manage Emergency Operations – fire, medical, weather, Haz-Mat response
- Manages security budget – includes payroll and account payable
- Manages employee testing when appropriate
- Inspects posts, personnel, vehicles and equipment for compliance with security policies
- Scheduling work shifts
- Monitor weather alerts through SkyGuard or other notification systems and make appropriate notifications
- Attends meeting as requested by NASEM Security Management
- Completes Operations Projects as requested by NASEM Security Management
- Follow escalation matrix for incident escalation to NASEM and/or Site Leadership
- Medical care
- Fire Response
- Fire alarm panel operations
Requirements:
- At least five (5) years’ experience in an administrative and supervisory capacity
- At least five (5) years’ experience in either Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Fire Service, or Emergency Management
- Have a working knowledge of Incident Command and the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
- Ability to thoroughly know NASEM’s security and/or fire suppression SOPs. Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of all Emergency Response Plans and Procedures and lead response as required within 30 days of hire
- Be available to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the event of an emergency or other situation as directed by NASEM or leadership
- Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with senior leadership. Be able to effectively maintain liaison with local police, fire, and EMS officials
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills
- Valid State of Texas security license, or ability to obtain within 2 – weeks
Preferred Requirements:
- Industrial security/fire service experience in an administrative and supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of the use of Lenel access control and perspective report writing systems
- Knowledge and experience utilizing Winteam systems
- Above average skills in the use of Smartsheet and Excel
- Hazard material certifications in one or more of the following – Awareness, Operations, Technical
