Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for an Inventory Specialist who can deliver a superior level of organizational service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our office.
Days and weekend work availability is a must. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, clothing modification, and inventory management.
$20.00 per hour
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Main Responsibilities:
- Cooperation with Operations and Human Resources to ensure availability of uniforms for new hires / collection of uniforms from employees leaving the company;
- Analyzing and resolving quality and service problems.
- Coordinating daily uniform service and maintaining stock of all uniforms;
- Keeping uniform storage and uniforms clean, tidy and efficiently organized;
- Develop and maintain internal documentation for Marksman Uniform Service unit in compliance with general Company policies and supporting business needs;
- Communication with Marksman teams on design and delivery of new uniforms and revamp of the existing uniforms in compliance with general Company policies;
- Performing other duties, as asked by the humna resources manager, which are related to this position and which meet the qualifications
- Assist guest with all uniform related needs and provide excellent customer service consistent with the company and property’s core service standards and brand attributes
- Maintain all uniform inventory including, but not limited to: assigned garments, garments going to and from the cleaners, and standing inventory
- Work with uniform inventory software to maintain employee and inventory records, including applying barcodes/RFID chips and name labels
- Operate manual conveyor-like system, heat-seal, pressing equipment, and other uniform related machinery including steam irons where applicable
- Assist with receiving new uniform inventory and discarding unusable items
- Adhere to all Health Department, OSHA, sanitations, and safety regulations to include chemical usage for spotting
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Performs other job-related duties as requested

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of inventory management experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Good level of English language – verbal and written
- Good level of computer skills (MS Office)
- Experience and knowledge of Customer Service principles
- Self-management and organization
- Approachable
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

- Experience in the fashion / designing business will be considered an advantage
- Experience in sewing and clothing alteration perferred but not requeired.
