What You’ll Do
- Deliver expertise to clients on statutory insurance accounting and navigate the complexities of regulatory matters with precision and confidence.
- Verify that all financial reporting adheres to state and federal regulations with impeccable compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct audits and assessments to support compliance with applicable laws and regulations, actively safeguarding the integrity and reliability of financial operations.
- Drive and oversee projects from start to finish, deliver on time with exceptional quality.
- Craft comprehensive financial reports and dynamic presentations for clients and stakeholders, delivering clear and impactful insights.
- Identify opportunities for improving clients’ financial reporting processes and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Dive into the latest industry trends, navigate the waves of regulatory changes, and master the art of accounting with cutting-edge best practices.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Statutory Auditor or Consultant in the Insurance sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Statutory Insurance accounting principles, GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
- Independent and bold thinker with a bias toward action and driving results.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- Hold CPA designation or equivalent certification preferred.
- Deep domain expertise and knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Effective communicator with strong verbal and writing skills, including advising and communicating solutions and issues to clients.
