About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant on the Client Accounting Services team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering tailored financial solutions to our clients. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining experience and exposure to a diverse range of industries while deepening your expertise in accounting principles and best practices. This role offers the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while providing opportunities to grow, innovate, and make meaningful impact. You'll be instrumental in building strong relationships with our clients and collaborating with senior leaders to deliver quality solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Utilize a solid understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as required and apply accounting standards to financial statement review and preparation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures and deliverables in compliance with GAAP, as required.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, trend analysis, and performance metrics.
- Maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
- Create consolidated financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist leadership with other financial projects from start to finish, deliver on time with exceptional quality.
- Engage in professional education/training sessions.
About You:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field; CPA certification preferred but not required.
- 3 years’ experience in public accounting or consulting field, preferred.
- Proven experience maintaining the general ledger, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborative mindset: You thrive in a team environment and embrace continuous learning.
- Adept at working at a fast pace while maintaining precision and meeting deadlines.
- Effective communicator with strong verbal and writing skills, including advising and communicating solutions and issues to clients.
- Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting and analysis tools.
