Detail Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Monitoring Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our ServiceNow platform. This hybrid role will focus on platform stability, monitoring, customization, and development of new features and workflows. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ServiceNow administration, along with hands-on development experience to support platform growth and integration with other systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Monitoring & Health :--
Monitor instance performance, availability, and system logs.
Configure and manage alerts, dashboards, and reports using ServiceNow Event Management and Performance Analytics.
Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs, integration points, data imports, and platform issues.
Able to Understand customer requirements and work on requests.
Experience with implementation of ServiceNow ITOM and ITSM modules.
Experience with implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, etc.
System Administration :--
Administer core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, etc.).
Manage users, groups, roles, and ACLs to ensure secure and effective access.
Coordinate and validate platform upgrades, hotfixes, and patches.
Development & Customization :--
Design and build custom reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for various stakeholders.
Build, test, and deploy catalog items and record producers with dynamic form logic.
Integration & Automation :--
Create and manage integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, LDAP, AD, monitoring tools).
Develop and support custom integration points with internal tools.
Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues.
Process Improvement & Support :--
Collaborate with process owners to gather requirements and improve workflows.
Provide training, documentation, and support to users and ServiceNow stakeholders.
Strong hands-on experience with :--
Custom report creation and dashboard design.
Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
Experience with ITSM modules and familiarity with ITIL practices.
Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management, or ITOM modules is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently or in a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality solutions.
Required Certifications:
ServiceNow - Certified System Administrator
Desired Certifications
ITIL V3 Foundation or ITIL V4 Foundation
ServiceNow - Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
10 years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
