Program Overview:
Our Automotive Technician Apprentice Program is a comprehensive training opportunity that combines hands-on experience with classroom learning. Apprentices will gain exposure to all aspects of our business, from customer service and office operations to vehicle servicing and repair. By the end of the program, apprentices will have the skills and knowledge to excel in various roles, including Service Writer, Service Advisor, and Service Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will:
Learn Vehicle Servicing and Repair:
Assist in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Gain hands-on experience with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other automotive components.
Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Customer Service and Communication:
Interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and provide excellent service.
Develop skills in explaining technical issues in a clear and professional manner.
Service Writing and Advising:
Shadow Service Writers and Advisors to learn how to create work orders, estimate costs, and recommend services.
Gain experience in managing customer appointments and ensuring satisfaction.
Office and Administrative Tasks:
Assist with day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records.
Learn inventory management and ordering parts.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with technicians, advisors, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
