School Year Hours : (M-F 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00pm)
Summer Hours : (M-F 6 : 30 AM-3 : 00 PM)
Occasional weekend hours in the summer
Work Year : 2024-2025
Effective Date of Employment :
As soon as possible - this is a year-round position
Salary :
According to the Custodial Salary Scale
FY25 Starting Salary : $47,260.54, plus nightly differential of $3,308.24, and an increase after 6 consecutive months of service
Job Responsibilities :
The Building Custodian is generally responsible for the achievement of the purposes of custodian services in the building, i.e., preserve property values, protect health and safety of occupants; support the educational objectives of the building and provide a climate of learning, develop goodwill and maintain cleanliness and neatness
- Grounds upkeep, snow removal
- Perform all other general duties as indicated by the Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his / her designee, the Custodial Supervisor or his / her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School Committee
