Job Description
The Retrofit Solutions Expert plays a crucial role in the Lifecycle Services team, overseeing all aspects of retrofits and driving revenue growth for Marlen International.
This position involves gathering and generating new machine retrofit ideas, technical support for existing retrofits, and serving as the hub for communication between engineering, sales, service, training, technical support, and customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Identifying opportunities, products, and programs to expand the retrofit business.
- Prioritizing the development of retrofit offerings across the Marlen portfolio.
- Collaborating with engineering to evaluate ideas, concepts, and models.
- Working with Technical Services to understand installation, commissioning, and customer requirements.
- Assessing and prioritizing retrofit solutions based on supply chain feasibility, market size, and business potential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in sales, engineering discipline, assembly, or related fields.
- Knowledge of automation machines and machine components.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Critical thinking with innovative problem-solving skills and a creative mindset.
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business/communication tools.
