POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Part-time Massage Therapist
Department: Massage
Reports to: Director, Personal Services
FLSA Status: Non exempt
Job Overview: The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is seeking part-time Massage Therapists. Must be NY State licensed and have knowledge of numerous modalities. We are looking for individuals interested in working in a community center environment with a wide range of clients. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performing, 25, 55, and 85 minute massage sessions ranging from Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal.
- Creating individual treatment plans for clients
- Cleaning the massage room between massage sessions and at the end of each shift
Qualifications:
- New York State massage therapy license
- Ability to generate new business and retain clients
- In depth understanding of anatomy and movement
- Computer savvy
- Good communication and positive energy
- Stand, sit, push, pull
