Phlebotomist - Full Time, Afternoons

OPEN POSITION: Position: Phlebotomist Department: Laboratory Location: Marlette, MI Hours: Full Time. Shift Varies/Afternoons. Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time Phlebotomist within our laboratory department. We are looking for those who have a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patient. REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certificate of Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant education
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Registered phlebotomist; Subsequent ASCP or equivalent certification is required within 6 months of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is proficient in all areas of the pre-analytical phase of testing: including positive patient identification, confirmation and entering of lab orders, diagnosis codes, fax distribution, specimen procurement and specimen processing.
