Job Description
The Parts Specialist is responsible for all aspects of inventory control including purchasing, receiving and cycle counts. This position will also assist retail customers and shop technicians with purchases and provide parts information from service manuals. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Management of parts inventory and full knowledge of location, uses and installation techniques of parts
· Assist retail customers and technicians with questions, part information and timely ordering of parts
· Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and timely processing of parts orders within the guidelines of company policies and procedures and by checking parts availability
· Responsible for marketing parts and accessories, inventory control and profitability of the parts department
· Maintain accurate retail and cost pricing on parts in data base, assign bin locations and keep accurate vendor information
· Analyze customer requests for parts; provide parts information and prices from service manuals, reference materials and computer
· Ability to provide substitute parts information for obsolete/upgraded parts
· Establish good relationship with distributors, dealers, service centers, and consumers in order to notify them of parts availability and shipment dates determined by tracking orders and or invoices through computer system
· Maintain appearance and cleanliness of parts showroom
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
