Job Overview
At Marley Engineered Products, we are seeking a skilled Fabrication Machine Operator to join our production team. As a critical member of our operations group, this individual will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality metal components.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on produced parts to ensure they meet our strict standards.
- Operate machines such as punches, blanking dies, and bending tools to fabricate metal components.
- Conduct regular inspections and oil changes on equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Turn on and off machinery as needed to support production schedules.
- Verify the proper functioning of safety devices during operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S) to ensure efficient workflows.
Requirements
- Able to identify and analyze differences in parts or operations.
- Strong reading comprehension skills to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Prior machine operating experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Manufacturing background is an asset but not required.
- Excellent attendance record with minimal absences.
