Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our nursing team. As a GNA, you will provide direct care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
- Provide personal/nursing care in accordance with resident care plan.
- Facilitate and conduct activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
- Monitor and respond to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner.
- Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA), you must have:
- Graduated from an approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or current CNA certification and working toward GNA certification.
