What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Marlin Construction Partners, Inc.?
Marlin Construction is a commercial General Contractor specializing in Hospitality, Senior Living and Storage Projects. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work with our project teams in the Southeast.
This is a Chattanooga based remote position and relocation will not be required if residing within the Chattanooga area. Travel to site or home office is required as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Direct oversight of all contractual and financial obligations to complete the project on-time and within budget.
- Perform and present all financial budgeting, billing, tracking and reporting of the project.
- Develop, update and report on project schedules.
- Be the representative of Marlin Construction with the Owner, Architect, Engineers and Subcontractors for the Project.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to resolve issues, ensure material deliveries and dates are being met as required.
- Daily coordination with the on-site staff to support the project and the needs of the jobsite.
- Reporting of job progress and financial progress both internally and externally.
- Coordination with on-site staff to implement and monitor the safety of the jobsite to comply with all OSHA and company requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of the contract documents and requirements, and the ability to monitor compliance with the documents.
Requirements:
- Previous project management experience is a requirement.
- Hospitality and Multifamily experience a plus, but not required.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Strong MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and computer skills.
