Marlin Design Build is an established Commercial General Contractor operating in North Carolina seeking an experienced field superintendent to plan, coordinate, and implement daily construction activities at designated work sites. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creation of project timelines;
- Scheduling of all on-site personnel and activities, including subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries, and inspections performed by a municipality;
- Soliciting and maintaining communication with subcontractors and vendors to ensure awareness of and commitment to project schedules.
- Management of on-site personnel and activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality workmanship is performed by subcontractors to plan specifications;
- Tracking of budgetary information for provision to administrative personnel, including contract disputes and change orders for any additional work approved by a client;
- Maintaining OSHA compliance on job sites and ensuring that on-site personnel leaves the interior and exterior clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
Candidates should meet the following minimum skills, experience, motivation, and attitude requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as commercial construction superintendent
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
- Keen attention to detail, organization, and effective time management skills.
- Temperament and skills to resolve conflict, work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer skills – Proficient Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
