Caregiver/RLA

JEXPERIENCED CAREGIVERS NEEDED! 2:00-10:00 Shift.

Overview:
Under a new Director of Resident services, we are seeking experienced compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team. You will provide essential care and support to residents in an assisted living facility. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring resident well-being, and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs of residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Help residents with mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Observe and report any changes in resident behavior or condition to the appropriate staff
- Adhere to all resident rights and ensure their privacy and dignity are respected

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Ability to work with individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Basic understanding of first aid techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
