About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fluidics Engineer to join our team at Marmon Foodservice Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing fluids-based engineering solutions that focus on fluid-based systems.
You will drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, leverage technical strategy and best practices, and lead the successful execution of projects. In this role, you will further develop technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to MFT's growth and innovation.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in design teams to deliver New Product Development, Continuous Improvement, or Feature Innovation projects for fluidics technology and applications.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation, to support enterprise priority goals and objectives.
- Apply engineering theory of fluidics to real-world applications in delivering products to customers.
- Drive the use of methodologies like Concept Selection, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, and Design Validation Plans to develop fluidic systems for our products.
- Participate in design process, testing, and reviews for fluidics subsystems across all product lines as a functional expert.
- Lead 8D activities to identify root cause of issues and oversee development/implementation of a corrective action plan.
- Utilize mathematical and computer-based engineering analyses to design innovative and reliable solutions for fluidics systems, carbonation, pumping, valving, flow control, and other processes.
- Develop technical drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software and tools.
- Conduct testing, collect and analyze data, and interpret test results to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of engineering solutions.
- Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose and implement design modifications of existing product lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project goals are met.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, industry trends, and technological innovations in fluid transport, storage, cooling, mixing, dispensing, valving, and pressurized system design.
- Actively participate in continuous learning and professional development activities, including attending training programs, workshops, and conferences.
