Automation Engineering Interns will work with a Marmon business unit or group-level engineering team and support multiple projects as noted below. This internship position will report directly to the Engineering team supervisor but will also have exposure to other teams at the business unit and / or within the group. Interns will complete a capstone project over the summer to deliver advanced, automated manufacturing technology to a Marmon manufacturing facility and present the project outcome to business leadership.
This internship will be based at one of Marmon's 300 manufacturing facilities in the United States, subject to the needs of the business unit. Specific geographic preferences of the applicant will be considered, but cannot be guaranteed. Likely internship locations may include (but not be limited to) the following geographic areas :
- Chicago, IL
- Atlanta, GA
- Charlotte, NC
- Detroit, MI
- Houston, TX
- Northeast Arkansas
- Central Connecticut
- Southern New Hampshire
This is a paid position that typically runs for 10-12 weeks from late May through mid-August; exact dates can be somewhat flexible based on school schedules. Certain peak periods may also provide an opportunity for overtime.
