Currently we have an excellent full-time employment opportunity available in our Blairsville, PA facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble transit wheel set assemblies and their components, using proper fixtures, mechanical devices and hydraulic presses.
- Dimensional inspection, documentation and assembly of transit wheel set assemblies and components.
- Test requalified or manufactured product to specifications
- Perform magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspection (if certified)
- Clean, mask, paint or apply coatings to components.
- Prepare parts and assemblies for shipment
- Detailed documentation and recordkeeping
Qualifications
Currently this position is a 1st shift position (10 hour shift Monday-Thursday, 5 : 00 am-3 : 00 pm), however, the individual must be willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and / or weekends, when needed.
