This full-time hourly position involves performing mid to expert level mechanical, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc. Electrical and systems troubleshooting are also essential responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in an industrial setting, and a solid understanding of electrical systems.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Perform mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance tasks, observing devices in operation to identify the root cause of issues.
- Source parts, supplies, and repair items as needed, using industry-standard methods.
- Work independently to perform maintenance tasks, adhering to 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with water treatment preventative maintenance and general upkeep, promoting a clean and safe work environment.
- Drive and participate in OFI activities, focusing on processes, results, and cost savings.
- Meet the minimum requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent (GED), 2 years' experience in an industrial setting, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work as a team player, basic skills in welding with Tig, Mig, and Stick Welders, and proficiency in using basic hand tools and specialized tools.
