What You'll Do :
Our Process Engineering internship offers a unique blend of hands-on experience in both manufacturing and office environments. You'll be introduced to real-life manufacturing processes, gaining exposure to key areas such as Extrusion, Cabling, Form, and Weld, while assisting with populating data for the Engineering module of FMX. This internship provides the exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments, working closely with both the production floor team and office staff. You'll develop a well-rounded understanding of the production process, while contributing to meaningful data management and process improvements, making it a valuable experience for anyone interested in manufacturing and engineering.
What You'll Need :
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, General or Process)
- Rising Junior
- Familiar with the use of a vernier caliper and / or hand micrometer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage various tasks and projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Computer Skills

Working Conditions and Physical Demands :
This position is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and involves working in a manufacturing environment / general exposure to a manufacturing environment. The environment may involve exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees are required to abide by PPE guidelines when onsite.
Location : East Granby, CT
