Internship Summary
Cannon Equipment is looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Intern to join our Summer 2025 paid internship program. Interns are encouraged to think and act like entrepreneurs and are provided significant responsibility and autonomy to get things done. As an intern, you will gain substantial personal learning and career development opportunities through ownership of real-world job assignments, strong coaching and mentorship and networking with senior leaders across the organization. Over the course of this program, Interns will gain tangible, hands-on experience, and insight into the customer concept to production processes and methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assist in Inspections : Support the team in performing visual and functional inspections of products during various stages of the manufacturing process.
- Data Collection : Gather and record quality control data, including measurement results and defect rates, using various tools and software.
- Document Review : Help review and update quality control documentation, including inspection reports, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Problem Solving : Assist in identifying quality issues and anomalies and collaborate with team members to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance Checks : Ensure that manufacturing processes and products comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement : Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives by analyzing data and providing recommendations for enhancing quality control practices.
- Reporting : Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and findings to the Quality Control team and other stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Certain peak periods may provide opportunity for overtime. This is a paid position. Internship will run for 10 weeks from June to August. Exact dates flexible.
