Key responsibilities include:
- Railcar Repair - perform all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars, adhering to current procedures and regulations.
- Customer Support - meet and exceed customer expectations through exceptional service and support.
- Clerical - ensure accurate invoicing, inspection, and work order information.
- Maintain certifications, including AAR rules and regulations, and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Other work-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds from the ground surface.
- Climb ladders and perform work at elevated heights.
- Work in confined spaces and pass a FIT Test.
- Pass a company physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
