Under broad supervision, manages risks arising from delivery of business functions, may include fraud, legal, physical, environmental, human resource and other non financial risks. Assesses exposure to risk, ways to measure operational risk, establishes policies and procedures to minimize risk, identifies ways to protect the organization from loss of earnings and reputational damage. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.
The Risk & Compliance Analyst specializing in Product Liability Claims Administration and Compliance plays a critical role in managing product-related claims and ensuring compliance with organizational standards for trademarks and contracts. This position focuses on mitigating legal risks, resolving product liability claims efficiently, and maintaining adherence to intellectual property and contractual obligations in Mpact across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Liability Claims Administration :
- Claim Handling & Investigation :
Administer and manage the lifecycle of product liability claims, including intake, investigation, and resolution.
Collaborate with outside legal counsel and insurers to negotiate settlements while minimizing financial and reputational risks.
Maintain accurate records of claims and resolutions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compliance - Trademarks and Contract Monitoring :
Monitor and maintain a list of the organization's trademark portfolio, ensuring proper registration, renewals, and adherence to intellectual property laws through the outside legal counsel.
Review and track contracts across the organization to ensure compliance with Mpact legal and organizational standards.
Provide training to employees on compliance requirements, focusing on Mpact contract management and Trademark process, when needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Skills & Qualifications :
Expertise in product liability claims administration and resolution processes.
5-7 years of experience in claims management.
Success Metrics :
Pay Range :
68,000.00 - 102,000.00
