Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete cycle counts for inventory control
- Use hand tools and power tools to create shipping containers.
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Perform a variety of other tasks as needed
Physical requirements :
Must be able to walk or stand for 7 to 7.5 hours per day
Must be able to lift or slide parts up to 120 lbs. from warehouse rack to pallet on stand-up lift.
Climb onto ladders to reach parts from bins
Climb on and off of stand up pallet lift
Mental focus and detail needed to pick orders correctly matching part numbers to pick ticket.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in Shipping and / or Warehouse environment
Previous experience in a Customer Service Role
Fork Truck Operation
Ability to effectively communicate, in writing and orally
Precise attention to detail
