Marmon Holdings is seeking an experienced Inventory Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Materials Management team across multiple sites and businesses, providing leadership and direction to the supply chain buying team, and developing and implementing best practice procurement strategies.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with experience in managing a team of professionals. They will be responsible for managing all direct material and MRO buying activities from procurement to payment, including timely PO placement, receiving and inventory discrepancy resolution, and invoice reconciliation.
This role will also involve working across multiple sites and businesses to develop and implement best practice procurement strategies, standardizing policies, processes, and procedures to promote optimization and alignment of Supply Chain processes. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead cross-functional teams and ensure that sourcing strategies align with company objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or an equivalent field, and 5 years of professional procurement-related experience, including international experience.
