Electrical Engineer (Industrial)
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical engineering for our Plant and Equipment Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, control, and implement electrical systems for both new and existing fleet operations.
- Develop proposals, drawings, and inquiries to fulfill the requirements of the equipment group and project estimations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet design specifications for electrical systems.
- Oversee project upgrade proposals, including pricing, specifications, and drafting single-line diagrams.
- Interface with regulatory bodies for system approvals.
- Work collaboratively across various departments for projects that require joint efforts.
- Undertake travel to various project locations within the USA as needed.
- Maintain updated documentation of drawings and software in the company's systems.
- Provide on-call support, including non-standard hours, as required.
- Offer technical leadership and ensure quality control over electrical equipment and installations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in power distribution systems, motor control centers, process control systems, and safety systems within an industrial setting.
- Knowledge of industrial standards and safety codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Experience in process control, automation, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and explosion-proof equipment.
- Excellent documentation and compliance skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
