Marposs Group is a global leader providing measurement, inspection and testing cutting edge solutions for quality and process control in the workshop environment, serving all major automotive and machine tools manufacturers, as well as the aerospace, biomedical, electronics, energy, glass containers and white goods sectors.
To reinforce our presence in North America in the Electric Vehicles market (Electric Drive Units and Battery Systems) we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Industry Manager.
Reporting to the President, he/she will drive Marposs growth in the relevant industry, promoting our innovative solutions in dimensional gauging, leak testing, electrical testing, vision inspection, and NVH.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and potential customers in the Electric Vehicle industry.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive Marposs' growth and market penetration in the target industry.
- Engage and build relationships with key target customers, understanding their needs and positioning Marposs' solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with the President to develop and implement sales plans, objectives, and targets.
- Support the full sales development process, including product testing, negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and contract finalization.
- Coordinate closely with the HQ R&D and production centers to provide feedback on market requirements and support future product development initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements related to Electric Vehicles.
- Provide regular reports and updates on market activities, customer interactions, and sales performance to the management team.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the Electric Vehicle industry.
- Strong understanding of the Electric Vehicle industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and industry challenges.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and address customer requirements.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
