Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary project information
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to create detailed cost estimates
- Utilize Construction management software such as Bluebeam and Excel for accurate estimations
- Visit construction sites to assess project requirements and constraints
- Control costs by negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion
- Provide cost analysis reports to the management team
- Participate in project management activities as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in Construction estimating and cost control
- Proficiency in using Construction management software like Bluebeam and Excel
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Project management principles
- Ability to build accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
