Job Overview
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Doctors and Hygienists, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients. This position emphasizes the importance of effective patient management and clinical assistance, contributing significantly to our practice’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side clinical support, including charting, patient education, operatory setup, and cleanup
- Oversee patient flow to promote efficient appointment scheduling
- Welcome patients warmly and ensure a positive experience
- Take and process X-Rays as needed
- Manage patient treatment plans and maintain organized files under the Dentist’s guidance
- Execute sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
- Monitor and prepare all laboratory cases for the upcoming schedule
- Dental Assistant Certification
- X-Ray Certification or the capacity to obtain it promptly
- Preferred certifications in coronal polishing and nitrous oxide
- Experience with temporary fabrication, denture adjustments, and Dentrix
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication abilities
- Capability to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for both patients and team members
- Certification as a Dental Assistant is a necessity
- Prior experience in a dental assisting role is preferred
