Job Title : Senior Account Executive - Digital Integrated Sales

Summary

Marquee Sports Network is seeking a high-performing, experienced Senior Account Executive with a proven digital sales track record and a passion for driving revenue growth across multiple platforms. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for leading strategic account planning, managing high-level client relationships, and delivering creative business solutions that leverage our digital, direct-to-consumer (DTC) and linear platforms.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-oriented leader who thrives on identifying and cultivating new revenue opportunities and monetizing audiences. You will bring extensive experience in media sales, with a deep understanding of how to monetize content across digital platforms. Your ability to communicate the value of our audience and craft custom solutions for clients will be key in ensuring continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets, driving new business and expanding our client base.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, trusted relationships with senior-level clients and agencies, serving as a key point of contact and thought leader.
  • Lead strategic account planning efforts, identifying growth opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Deliver compelling business solutions, clearly articulating the value proposition of Marquee Sports Network, its unique audience and portfolio of platforms.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to other members of the sales team, sharing best practices and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing sales culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Expertise : At least 7 years of media and / or sports digital sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a top 10 DMA.
  • Multi-Platform Sales Mastery : Extensive experience in selling across various platforms. Proven ability to design integrated, cross-channel campaigns that deliver results.
  • Strategic Leadership : Proven ability to lead and execute the entire sales process from account planning to closing deals, while also mentoring and coaching junior sales staff.
  • Client-Focused : Strong client management skills with an ability to build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, influence outcomes, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong Communicator : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting effectively to high-level executives and articulating the distinct value of our products and services.
  • Industry Expertise : A strong understanding of the media landscape, particularly in the Chicago and Midwest markets, and a passion for sports desired.
