What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Marquee Staffing - OC?
Medical Device Company is looking for a contract Field Service Technician.
We are looking for a person that can work independently at Cedars Sinai hospital in LA county to perform basic device preventive maintenance (PM) on medical equipment located in-use and in patient rooms throughout hospital.
The work will be primarily replacing batteries and updating software on a variety of devices inside patient rooms with patients still in the rooms.
Min requirements:
- One year Technical Experience / AA degree or Biomedical Engineer
- Credentialling to access hospital environment (Vendormate or equivalent)
- Ability to enter data in computer systems and track until completion. All work to be electronically documented on mobile devices during each work day on live system.
- Ability to communicate fully with hospital staff and adhere to hospital requirements
- General use of basic tools (Screwdrivers, wrenches, SD Cards, etc.)
Paid Training will be completed on-line (Zoom or Teams) with Tech Service team in Irvine performing the training.
Prefer local resident due to commute
Approx 6-8 weeks
$30-40 / hour BOE
Parking costs will be reimbursed.
