Responsibilities :
As a Clinician Support Liaison , you will serve as the primary point of contact for accounts and patients, handling the following responsibilities :
Communicate effectively via phone, email, case management systems, and reporting platforms between cardiac technicians and external cardiac accounts, including hospitals, clinicians, and patients.
Follow physician notification protocols to communicate ECG abnormalities and alert physicians or clinical personnel as needed.
Conduct account follow-ups to obtain additional clinical information, such as pacemaker settings and cardiac clinician contact details.
Utilize case management ticketing systems to respond, take action, and update case statuses.
Verify process notification criteria and ensure reports are complete and accurate.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., cardiac technicians) and external partners (e.g., hospitals and clinicians).
Meet or exceed defined performance metrics related to productivity and case quality.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and best practices for clinical operations.
Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications :
Ideal candidates will have the following :
An associate degree and at least one year of customer service experience in a call center OR a high school diploma with a minimum of two years of call center experience, preferably in the medical field.
Ability to work at least two days a week in-office at the Deerfield, IL location (subject to business needs).
Availability to work alternating weekends and shifts as required.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with EKG interpretation .
Strong understanding of medical terminology .
Technical proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
