What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Marquee Staffing?
We need a person that can work independently in the LA area to perform basic device preventive maintenance (PM) on medical equipment located in-use and in patient rooms throughout hospitals. They would primarily be replacing batteries and updating software on a variety of devices inside patient rooms with patients still in the rooms.
Min requirements :
One year Technical Experience / AA degree or Biomedical Engineer
Credentialling to access hospital environment (Vendormate or equivalent)
Ability to enter data in computer systems and track until completion. All work to be electronically documented on mobile devices during each work day on live system.
Ability to communicate fully with hospital staff and adhere to hospital requirements
General use of basic tools (Screwdrivers, wrenches, SD Cards, etc.)
Training will be completed on-line (Zoom or Teams) with Tech Service team in Irvine performing the training.
Job Location : Downtown LA at Cedars Sinai hospital.
Equipment requires battery and software upgrades and provided to end- users to explain how to do basic preventive maintenance on devices.
Prefer local resident due to commute
Length of Assignment - Approx 6-8 weeks
Expected Pay : $30-40 / hour DOE
Parking costs will be reimbursed.
