What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sunshine Aide- Seasonal position at Marquette County Medical Care Facility?
We are seeking a caring, compassionate Sunshine Aide to join our team for the summer. Ideal candidate is passionate about providing the best experience for our residents. Candidates must be at least 17 years old. Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must. This is a seasonal position and begins in May and ends in August. Hours are 11am-7pm with six shifts required every pay period. This position is expected to work every other weekend.
The Sunshine Aide takes on a rewarding role to ensure that residents have ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors during our warmer months. Some areas of responsibility are:
- Train to become a dining assistant and assist residents with eating tasks
- Spend multiple hours a day outside with residents socializing
- Assist residents with wheelchair locomotion
- Assist residents and staff in other areas as needed
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Rotating weekends
