Cleaner/Janitor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Carry out custodial duties in a commercial setting, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.

Skills

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming

- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste management

- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Perform minor maintenance tasks

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals

- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred

- Familiarity with custodial duties and facilities maintenance

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
