What Will You Do?
Marquette is recruiting for a hospitality focused Temporary Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for the timely and safe transport of residents. Such services include transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled. This position is for temporary coverage for the transportation department, it is not a permanent position.
Job Salary Range: $17- $22.85 an hour.
Daily Responsibilities Of A Driver:
- Drive shuttle bus or company vehicle on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Completes a safety check of vehicle before transporting residents.
- Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment. (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash vehicle as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by Life Enrichment Director.
Qualifications/ Physical Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Indiana CDL is required with good driving record.
- Must be able to interpret and follow directions on GPS or a map. Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude.
