What You Will Do?
The Hospitality Attendant is responsible for providing an excellent valet parking experience for residents and/or guests. The Hospitality Attendant must anticipate the unique needs of each resident/guest and look to exceed their expectation with each interaction. It is important the Hospitality Attendant always maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Job Salary Range: $16- $21.50 an hour
Daily Responsibilities:
- Anticipate resident needs such as opening car doors, aid with wheelchairs/walkers, holding umbrellas, assist with packages, etc.
- Responsible for safe parking and retrieval of resident’s vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, and Marquette policies.
- Assists residents with unloading packages and groceries.
- Assists Concierge with accepting, logging and coordinating delivery of packages for residents.
- All other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications/Physical Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clear driving record. (Must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions).
- Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
- This position requires an individual to be on his/her feet for extended periods of time, walking, and standing, etc.
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs., and may be required to push/pull carts, heavy items, etc. Will be required to escort residents and/or guests outside in all types of weather, including rain, wind, snow, extreme cold and extreme hot temperatures.
