What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Landscaper position at Marquette Senior Living?
Marquette is looking for a dedicated Landscape Tech to join our team! The candidate selected for this position is is responsible for a variety of landscaping maintenance as well as other duties to ensure community grounds are well-maintained and look presentable.
Pay Range: $23-28 an hour
Shift: Summer help wanted! Days/ Evenings required and shifts may vary!
Responsibilities:
- Planting
- Removing weeds/ dead plants
- Clean and maintain grounds
- Trash removal
- Pressure washing
- Operate and maintain grounds equipment
- Mowing as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general grounds maintenance techniques, such a perennial gardens and pruning.
- Possess mechanical skills to perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment & commercial machinery.
- Ability to present oneself with professionalism and provide exceptional customer service.
- Able to work unsupervised when needed and work well with others.
- Able to life 50 pounds or more.
