What You’ll Do:
As a student in our training course, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and certification required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The course prepares you to take the State of Oregon Competency Exam.

Classroom instruction to build your foundational knowledge- Lab setting simulations to develop hands-on skills
- Clinical practice in our facilities, working directly with our residents
The course runs Monday through Friday for approximately 4 weeks. Classes are offered at Marquis Mt. Tabor and Marquis Tualatin monthly. See class schedules for specific dates and times.
What We Expect from You:
To succeed in our training course, we are looking for students who are:
- Professional, attentive, and ready to participate
- Able to dedicate 2-3 hours of studying per night
- Capable of lifting 40 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English
Enrollment Requirements:
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Legal documentation to establish your identity and eligibility for employment in the U.S.
- Willing to undergo a criminal background check and employment reference check
