Responsibilities for Admissions Nurse :
Obtain the resident / guardian signature on all required permits, releases, and authorizations, etc.
Assist with welcoming patient to facility as they are admitted to the facility
Maintain a current listing of all residents & assigned room numbers.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to gather necessary documentation and manage admissions paperwork
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Admissions Nurse :
RN or LPN license in state of Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years in a related Admissions Nurse position within long-term care or related healthcare setting.
Previous health care customer service experience
Must have a strong sense of urgency, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
Ability to work flexible hours as admissions and marketing responsibilities may dictate
