Responsibilities :

Prepare and cook meals according to menu guidelines, dietary restrictions, and resident preferences.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including sanitizing cooking equipment and surfaces.

Ensure food safety and compliance with infection control procedures.

Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Collaborate with dietary staff to meet nutritional standards and ensure resident satisfaction.

Serve meals in a friendly and welcoming manner, fostering a positive dining experience.

Requirements :

High school diploma preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Previous experience with food preparation.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care tailored to the age-related needs of residents.
