What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach Specialist position at Marquis Home Care?
Our Certified Home Health Care Agency is looking for an Outreach Specialist to join our growing team. This position will cover the Capital Region from Saratoga to Albany. We are in search of the right candidate, must be self-motivated and goal oriented.
What you will do:
- Daily outreach to Hospitals, Rehab Centers, Physicians Offices
- Maintain networking base in the community through health fairs, trade shows, business organizations and local association meeting as requested
- Communicate/consult with licensed professionals on any referrals received and follows through
- Meet with clients and their families to start services
- Be a liaison with NY Agencies on Aging and Care Managers
- Responsible for bringing new patients/clientele to the agency
- Follow-up and communicate with potential clients on a regular basis until they are active with the agency
- Participate in evening and weekend events as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Established relationships at local hospitals and healthcare networks
- 2 years Sales and Marketing Experience
- 2 years experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to build relationships, very personable
- Home Health Care knowledge is a plus
- Clinical Licensure is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel
