Monday-Friday Morning Host

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements in a busy restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet guests promptly upon arrival and provide them with a warm welcome.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
• Utilize Toast POS system for managing reservations and guest information.
• Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring exceptional customer service and guest relations.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast, is a plus.
• Ability to help resolve guest issues effectively and professionally regarding reservation requests.
• Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous.
