Job Description We are seeking an in-house corporate attorney to provide legal guidance on corporate matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate legal risks. The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.Key Responsibilities : Contracts & Agreements : Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including commercial agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.Enforce Medical Liens and Contracts : When needed, enforce the company’s medical liens and contracts.Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with executives, HR, finance, and business teams to align legal strategies with business goals.Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential legal risks related to operations, transactions, and employment matters.Employment Law : Advise on employment-related legal issues, including employee contracts, workplace policies, and dispute resolution.Policy Development : Develop and implement corporate policies and best practices to ensure legal and ethical business operations.Manage and Oversee all legal items of the company, including contract enforcement and subpoenas received.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the company adheres to applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry-specific legal requirements such as each State’s MVA Lien laws and statutes.Employment Policies and Contracts : Assist HR with drafting, reviewing, and updating employee handbooks, policies, and employment contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices.Employee Discipline and Terminations : Advise HR on disciplinary actions, terminations, and performance management to reduce the risk of legal claims, such as wrongful termination or discrimination lawsuits.Qualifications & Skills : Education : Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.License : Active membership in GA Bar Association, or ability to become a member of the GA Bar and other states as needed.Skills :
