Reports To: Executive Housekeeper /Assistant Executive of Housekeeping

Supervises: N/A

Shift times: 8am to 4:30pm weekdays, 9am to 5:30pm weekends (required to work weekends) schedule is subject to change based on business needs).

Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping House Person. As a Housekeeping House Person, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean/maintained and welcoming to all visitors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Move and arrange furniture as necessary including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
• Collect and launder soiled linens and store linen supplies in linen closet.
• Clean and stock restrooms with supplies.
• Refurnish rooms with supplies, towels, etc. as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations when using chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, vacuums, and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork; washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations when using chemicals.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Education

• High school diploma preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in hotel cleaning for full-service hotels required.

Physical Requirements and working conditions:

• Ability to speak and hear.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Close and distance vision.
• Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
