Assistant Chief Engineer

• Assist in the selection, supervision, development, appraisal, counseling, and disciplinary action
  of associates as needed.
• Responsible for monitoring compliance with state building codes and regulations, OSHA safety
  codes and adherence to Fire Department standards of safety and evacuation procedures.
• Maintain the aesthetics of the exterior and interior of the building.
• Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
• May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a strong asset for the
  Project Manager.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Cooperates with all Department Heads, sets up departmental meetings, supervisory meetings
  and internal departmental meetings.
• Assist in developing an effective emergency plan for hotel. Assist in conducting drills and
  training staff on the operation of emergency systems and equipment.
• Train MOD on emergency procedures, equipment, water, and electrical shutoff etc. Schedule
  regular inspection and maintenance of all emergency equipment (kitchen hood extinguisher, fire
  extinguisher, alarm systems, etc.)
